If you are not able to stream music, or change the Volume on the Olive, it is possible that the Olive is connected to the smart device, but not paired with the App. In which case, follow the steps below.
For an Android:
This Android smartphone shows this when the Olive is paired with the smartphone, but not connected with the App:
Olive Paired & NOT Connected
This is shown when an Olive is paired and connected:
Olive Paired & Connected
(The Olive is turned ON)
If the device is paired, but not connected, you will have to visit the settings page.
Bluetooth >> Settings.
Select your Olive. Unpair the device.
And then begin the pairing process again.
For an iPhone:
You need to first unpair the iPhone with the Olive.
1. Open the App.
2. Select Olive List.
3. Click on the recycle bin and remove the Olives from the list.
*Note: Unfortunately, all the Olives have to be removed and added one by one again. This will be fixed later, where each Olive can be removed separately.
4. Open Settings >> Bluetooth
a. Disconnect the device and forget the device.
5. Now begin the pairing process again.
